Have a Little NASCAR With Your Gran Turismo 5

Get ready to cock you PS3 controller's left stick to the left for the next 250 laps. Here's the first NASCAR trailer for Gran Turismo 5. This video includes interview footage with Kazunori Yamauchi. He declares, "NASCAR is the heart of motorsports in America."

Notably, he says this at the Texas Motor Speedway on his first ever visit to a NASCAR race. Great. Whatever. Can we have the game by December, please?

this is stunning. For the GT makers to stoop to such lows is almost unthinkable. I mean.... especially if this was any of the reason for the games long development period. NASCAR.....in Gran Turismo. Yuck. I guess it didnt take too much effort to add perhaps.

you can't rush perfection. Yamauchi has already said that his original intention was to make the game as realistic as possible, while achieving the most detail possible. I'm all about perfection; take your sweet time yamauchi.
