So the 2011 BMW 5 Series has finally arrived. So far your reactions have been mixed on the styling. Well, cars always look a little different on the road so we dug up a few videos of the 5 Series in action to give you a better look.

So what do you think? Better? Worse? Don't care?

Anyone else think that the nose of the new 5er looks EXACTLY like the one on the Genesis Coupes? Anyone..?

Looks disappointing. The front is especially generic. It looks like it was a cool design that someone just rounded everything off before production.

The overall profile is nice and the interior is too. Otherwise, it looks like BMW is going the same way Mercedes did: trendy, rounded styling that looks dated in 2 years.

I know that a lot of people don't agree, but I liked Bangle's designs. They may have been controversial, but they gave BMW some distinction. I'm not really a fan of the new 5.

Overall I like it, but they could have done better. IMO They really "cheapened" the appearance of the exterior. It reminds me of a Japanese or Korean import.

I liked Bangles designs too, they age pretty well. The new one is a step in the wrong direction.

It's way too big and porky to suit me, but I do like the return to a more driver-centric interior design. I'm also glad to see the return of the water temperature gauge(although I'll bet it is still buffered) as well as the continued presence of a manual transmission on the order sheet.
