Video: Drifting in a Semi Truck... Yes, on Public Roads

The driver didn't have a trailer hooked up a the time, but in our book, this still counts as delightfully insane.

Awesome. I figured it was Saudi Arabia, but nope, Poland. At least they did it at night and there was no one on the road.

That is fawesome. Makes me wonder why it hasn't been done before, actually. Big power, low gearing, front-heavy, and a tight turning radius makes for a great drifter!

That is sweet.

I have actually done something similar .... but different.

Was driving a brand new tractor without a trailer once, was slowing to make a 90 deg right and a combo of sand on the road and super touchy air brakes made the rear step out into a slide while making the turn - don't know how it got corrected but I'm sure the guy in the car coming to the intersection had to change his drawers.

We have traffic circles (rotaries) around here and I have successfully drifted a pickup in the wet, all the way around - fun!

And, I've worked for the two largest parcel delivery companies and drifted with a very large diesel delivery truck on greasy, wet pavement in the summer and snow in the winter - and the road wasn't always empty. A good way to deal with the mundane and boredom. Very fun but also very dumb - I'm lucky.

This guy in Poland has it going on - wonder what the people in the cars were thinking.

I think I may have received some of Rick8365's deliveries.
