Huh. The Fusion is the only one to actually increase in sales.

This seems very wrong...the Silverado outsold the F-150 in 2008? I doubt it....
Maybe Im reading it wrong.

Camry #1? Just proves that most buyers prefer vanilla pablum. Enthusiast car magazines? Whatever - a sideshow. You can see why the automakers don't seem to listen to us. For every one of you, 3 or 4 of your neighbors think of their car as much as their refrigerator.

Didnt the F 150 was numero uno???
Autoblog.......I read it there.?

Maybe they decided to go with a well-built, reliable refridgerator with a good solid repuation and resale value?
Maybe?
What'd you expect to see up there? A BMW M3 or a CTS?

It always surprises me the deference between the US top 10 list and the Canadian one.
In Canada...
Mazda3,
Toyota Corolla,
Honda Civic,
Hyundai Accent,
Toyota Yaris,
Toyota Matrix,
Ford Focus,
Hyundai Elantra,
Nissan Versa
Honda Accord
Notice the Accord is at the bottom and the Camry is not even on the list. The Mazda3 has been fighting it out with the Civic and Corolla for years for number 1.
(Sorry I couldn't find a list with cars and trucks combined.)

Toyota Camry is #1?! I barely see them on a road living in West Hollywood. I see Accords or Minis much more often than Camry.

Ye - tht's coz Canada has 60% income taxes and is almost an European socialist state, so the cars are smaller than US. Not to mention the gas prices which are way above US pump prices.

Is this different because the rankings include ONLY the F-150 and not the entire F-Series line (including the SuperDuty F-250 and F-350) while the Silverado count only includes the 1500 (and not the 2500 and 3500)? The numbers, even for 2008, seem a bit soft for those trucks.

This is not right. Ford sold more Fusions than that. Their latest sales figures were above 180,000. The F-150 has also been the best selling truck for 33 years and the best selling vehicle for 28 years. These results must be from much earlier in the year because there was a big to-do in the news when the Fusions sold more than any GM car and become the #3 best selling car in America.

Well you're right about the gas prices but nothing else. I pay about 30% in taxes in total which includes health care (no insurance premiums).
Our only socialist party (the NDP) is never in power, a distant 3rd in most places. Our PM is a conservative, more like a light duty George Bush then Obama. And yes he's a idiot too.
The cars are smaller because we like small cars.

I think a couple places I read said F-150 is the king...

I wonder how of those years that would be true if the Silverado and Sierra were counted at the same truck (which they are).
Sounds like the F150 only wins on a technicality.

You should probably not ever open your mouth again, lol.
Part of the issue is that cars tend to cost much more in Canada then in the US, despite the fact that so many of them are built here. So, our average car buyer is forced to look at a smaller class of vehicles.

Prius is # 1 top hyped vehicle. How is it possible that it is not in the top 10 in sales?

Who's numbers do you trust? Autoblog had a different ranking.
Ford's Media website matches Autoblog's numbers, not Edmunds'.
Toyota's Press website matches Autoblog's numbers, not Edmunds'.
And Prius is #16, which is not bad at all.
So what did Edmunds invent these numbers with? The blogging tool?
Who is the chief of number inventing? Did he remember to invent hybrid super cars too?

Can someone please explain the Impala? There can't be that many new taxi and cop cars?
mozzz77788 says:

lol, ther Impala is extremely popular among older folks. It's a classic case of buying a car based on its name rather than how good it is
