The next-generation BMW 3 Series is out testing again. This time it emerged from BMW's test facility in the Arctic Circle which kindly reserves plenty of parking for the camouflaged test mules.
Trying to discern changes on this prototype is near impossible though. Judging from the latest 5 Series redesign we're not expecting big styling changes anyway.

Current generation 3-series launched in spring 2005, so it was a little less than 5 years ago. This one is thought to be arriving next summer, I think. So 6 years; which is about right.

I bought an 06 BMW 3 Series used last year and in 5 months it had 4 major repairs...Lets just hope they make this one more reliable.

I currently own a 2006 330i, I have owned it since new. I currently have 93K on its odo, have never had any issue with it, other than the run flat tires, I have found this car to problem free and extremly reliable.
