Even with their company on the verge of closure, a few die-hard Saab engineers are still sequestered in the Arctic Circle hoping that the mere prospect of future product might convince someone to drop a few billion dollars on GM's doorstep in exchange for Saab.
Seems a shame that a car could get so far into its development and then just disappear. Too bad they can't make a Super GT car out of it.

How about Spyker just drop a burning bag of dog cr@p on GM’s doorstep instead?
If I was a Saab engineer I wouldn’t grab the keys to the new 9-5 and drive it home. I’m guessing this engineer had the same idea. He probably figures GM owes him anyways.

GM just likes pissing away money, don't they? It's not worth what they think, and they're too stubborn to admit it! Saab would be much better served under Spyker... under anyone else, really. Sell the brand already! Otherwise they'll be stuck with only one option: spending billions to phase it out.
