From Russia With Hate: Snowplow Driver Sideswiped, Then Shot by Government Officer

This ugly scenario went down on December 26. A 39-year-old Russian Interior Ministry lieutenant colonel clipped a snowplow as he went past in his Nissan Mistral SUV. He was evidently so upset about the damage, he pulled out an air pistol and shot a rubber bullet into the knee of the snowplow driver.

The officer scored a direct hit on a major artery, and the snowplow driver eventually died of blood loss... no word on whether anyone tried to stop the bleeding or rush him to a hospital. The lieutenant colonel has been charged with manslaughter.

I wonder if his family has been killed too? This is awful. I can't believe this even made it to the news before Stalin v2.0 quashed it.

This is so sad ):

That's most unfortunate. It's personally shameful for anyone, but it's a political issue when you've got an O-5 involved.

That he has been charged with manslaughter and we heard about it shows Russia isn't the great evil state people love to claim it is.

Every country has it's criminals and nuts... even in positions of authority.

Israeli army should kidnap this guy to train its troops to properly shoot rubber bullets at Palestinians!

Ha-ha, I guess Russians slowly become Americanized;) I used to think that it's only Americans who shoot people on a road. But it is a sad story indeed. What an awful way to die.
