Legendary Motor Cars has a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda project car, Super Cuda, with a twin-turbocharged V10. They humbly claim it makes over 1,000 horsepower. Earlier this month, LMC was invited to bring the car to Chrysler's Michigan proving grounds and lap it on the oval. Coincidentally enough, a Ferrari Enzo happened to show up.
LMC also has an extensive gallery of photos (low-res, unfortunately) from the day on the proving grounds and from the process of building the Super Cuda. It's worth a look.

You have got to respect the amount of effort that it took to make a car whose front ends consist of mostly 90 degree angles to go 208 mph. Thats engineering and thats fun.
I thought this was a well done video. Not to loud and brash and yet not too "documentish." Good stuff.
