Video: 2010 Dodge Viper ACR's "Record" Lap at Laguna Seca -- the Director's Cut

After SRT Engineer Chris Winkler set a new production-car lap "record"* at Laguna Seca in a 2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR, we brought you a video of Winkler talking you through a lap of the course in the Viper. In this latest video, he's not talking. He's just driving, on his way to a 1:33.915 lap time.

This video is the professionally edited director's cut from Dodge's track day at Laguna Seca and worth a watch (save for the silly conversation at the very end). In particular, the camera mounted in the Viper gives you a fine view of the proper line, not to mention a good read on tire grip.

*No disrespect to Winkler's driving ability intended. Our objection is that it's just not possible to set a record here unless it happens during an officially sanctioned race.

Looks like a duck, talks like a duck.

It's a record.

Gotta love the "brave" photographer camped out at the bottom of the Corkscrew standing in the dirt and not behind the retaining wall.
