How To Build a 638-hp LS9 Supercharged V8

Haven't you always wanted to build a 638-horsepower V8? Us too. Now, with this handy instructional video, you can. First thing you want to do is buy yourself a facility like the GM Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan (Hint: It's going to help if you are a major international corporation). Then get yourself a bunch of really sweet machines and some good parts. Then all you have to do is bolt everything together. Done.

Or you could just watch the video above, despite the Guns 'n' Roses rip-off lead-in, to see Don Henley build your hot rod (just watch the vid).

We actually built one of these monster motors a while back on a visit to Wixom and so let us now take the opportunity to apologize to the current owner of the ZR1 with that motor.

But you should totally build one.

Did anybody else notice that Don Henley is a side talker?

I'm just sayin'.
