Just in case the dyno video wasn't enough to whet your appetite for the new 2011 Ford Mustang, here's the full spec sheet on the new 5.0-liter.
UPDATE: The listed weight of the manual coupe has been updated. Why Ford PR chose to release a spec sheet with the wrong numbers is inexplicable, but there you go.

Wow, this info brought out my innner Ford-family-ties! I keep telling myself I do not need a new car...

weight has increased according to the specs. A manual equipped car is 3875lbs if that is correct.

@1487,
Holy weight-gain, Batman! That can't be!? This article read "slight" weight gain, and the engine is only 10 pounds heavier.

Why does the manual equipped car lose 4 cubic feet of storage (a 31% drop) vs the automatic?

I think the loss of storage space is meant to be on the convertible model. It does look a bit confused though.
The weights do seem high. Hopefully they "est." on the porky side and the real cars will be lighter.

Weird how the manual coupe weighs less than the auto coupe, but both the convertibles weigh the same...

Holy weight batman!
whats going on here?
This car is a pig!
Gotta wait till the exact numbers are released.

The car has bigger brakes and other changes like new trannies- they add weight. I'm not surprised that the GT will weigh only slightly less than the Camaro. This info is straight from Ford so it should be relatively accurate.

If this weight gain is correct the car will only be marginally faster than the current Mustang and likely not as fun to drive. What is the point of that?

The apparent weight gain is, in fact, a mistake by Ford. Not a mistake in allowing the Mustang to become excessively fat, but instead the company's inability to proofread its own press release specifications.
A call to Ford PR reveals that the 3,875 and 4,000 pounds listed are incorrect. The company says now that base curb weight for the 2011 GT manual coupe is 3,603 pounds. According to Ford that represents a 76-pound increase over the 2010 GT manual coupe. The company says it will correct its figures on the spec sheet pictured here.

Why not correct all the weights with the info that rayinsw has provided?

If Ford can't get a sheet of paper right the first time, I'd wait until the second year of production to buy a Ford product. (I know this comment is silly, but typos in a press release are akin to typos in a resume - fully unacceptable).
