It's been a long time since we first saw the Cadillac CTS Coupe concept, and it hasn't changed much over the years. Today marked the first public appearance of the production version of the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe and it continues to look like a fine addition to the lineup.
We've already hashed through all the details like the standard six-speed manual transmission and 304-horsepower V6. Today was all about seeing the production lines in person next to the rest of the Cadillac lineup. There were no surprises, either. The proportions work well and the stance looks right. Throw on a set of deep-dish wheels and this coupe would look quite tough.
If you can't make it to the L.A. auto show to see the Cadillac CTS Coupe in person, one will be on display in front of the central fountain at The Grove starting tomorrow night through December 7.

It works for me, except the straight-on rear view. This car has a lot of presence, as you mention

Its gotta have poor rear visibility.
The side and the front look good.

I'm kinda mixed about the coupe. However, I like the sedan and LOVE the sportwagon.

Good as it looks, those shiny wheels have got to go! A black coupe with a set of gunmetal BBS wheels would look right on!

It looks fat (and definitely not phat)! Curb weight > 2 tons? The belt line is too high. Look at all the space between the top of the fender and the front wheel and the c-pillar and the rear wheel.

The belt line does look too high. It gives the impression of massive slabs of sheetmetal on top of shopping cart wheels. Not unlike Toyotas of late.

I'm sure this thing looks better on the road and in person, but I'm in fear that people will think it's a hatchback. Americans HATE hatchbacks and see as down-grade.
PS, I love hatchbacks.

It has a really fat looking back end. As with the CTS sedan, I love the front view but I think the back end could use some work.

Not feeling the rear end; the center exhaust outlet looks weird.
Otherwise; a home run in my book.

I'm not so keen on the high sides, but I gotta admit that I love the design. A cts-v coupe might be my new day-dream car!

Looks pretty good to me...Can't wait to see it in person.

this doesnt remind me of ANY Toyota products. Looks better here than it did in the press release shots. The rear takes some getting used to, but I do like the profile view.

It has a pooper like the 370Z. :)

Love it! Really needs to lose the B-pillar, though. And those gaudy wheels.

1487, I do see a bit of Celica in the profile and b-pillar. Not a bad thing. Overall, it's attractive but the rear is a bit too high.
