Update: Aston Martin announced over the weekend that the Rapide will have a base MSRP of $199,950 in the United States.
Today Aston let the world know that the 2010 Aston Martin Rapide will be priced at 139,950 British pounds when the first UK deliveries begin in the second quarter of 2010. The car won't be built in Britain, by the way, but at a new Aston plant in Graz, Austria.
So that's about $232,137 at current exchange rates. And if history holds true, the Porsche Panamera Turbo will drive better than the Rapide. But we give the Rapide credit, because it is the only one of the "four-door coupes" that actually looks like a coupe.

But the Panamera also has real full adult rear seats, while the Rapide is a 2+2.

@billt9
True, it makes you feel claustrophobic.

I'd just have the DB9...or two.

The Rapide is definitely the best-looking of the sedan "coupe" bunch.

Wouldn't the Bentely Continental GT Sport start to appear somewhat practical, considering this Aston's price? Two doors, sure, but the interior looks huge and accomodating.
