I found the notion believable until the voice comparison. I didn't think the voices were too similar, even considering the effect the helmet had on the Stig's voice. I'm unconvinced.

If you watch Jeremy Clarkson's Duel, you can see that Anthony Davidson's and the Stig's suits are different if you look at the straps.

i don't have a problem with davidson being one of the stigs, but there are more then one stig, www.finalgear.com as more info on this this you could shake a stick at, but last year top gear did a 24hr race and the stig was one of their drivers, but there were three different racing drivers that were there with the top gear crew.

The Stig has varying builds, so its obviously not the same person every time. If you knew the Stig was different people, you'd scoff at the lap times and say, "Stig 1 is a better driver than Stig 2, so that's why that car was faster"
