Would you like the chance to prove your chops as an automotive journalist? Are you familiar with Shell gasoline? Might you happen to live in the United Kingdom?
If you answered "yes" to all three, then you might want to check out the oddly named "Write Into Gear" contest. It basically asks contestants to answer a few questions and then write a 75 word ode to Shell V-power gasoline.
Winner gets an 3-month internship at Auto Express magazine and a trip to Ferrari HQ in Maranello.
Seems like a neat idea, maybe Inside Line will do the same someday, although we'll probably take you to Hamtramck or something? Still interested?

So I could write a 75 word poem for the chance to not get paid getting coffee and doughnuts for other writers in an industry that has essentially gone the way of the dodo? Oh, and I have to praise an oil company?
It's just too lucrative!
