Reports out of Florida say Tiger Woods crashed his Cadillac Escalade just after leaving his house last night around 2:30am. He apparently "lost control," hit a fire hydrant and then continued into a tree.
Initial reports said he received serious injuries, but Wood's agent said the injuries were minor and Woods was immediately released from the hospital.
No matter what the extent of his injuries, it's a fishy story either way. Anytime we hear that the driver in an accident simply "lost control" we find it pretty hard to believe. That Escalade has anti-lock brakes, brake force distribution and electronic stability control, yet Tiger managed to lose control minutes after pulling out of his driveway? At 2:30 in morning? On Thanksgiving?

Wife just happened to be behind him with a golf club to swing at the rear window, huh? Even though crash wasn't hard enough to deploy the airbags and the tree was barely damaged, she had to break out the rear window. Interesting. Very interesting.

Something is very fishy here... Tiger was bloodied up in the mouth yet no airbags deployed? That means the crash had to be hard enough to result in contact with the steering wheel. Either the Escahoe offers particularly poor occupant protection, he wasn't wearing his seat belt, or something else happened with the wifey that we aren't hearing about (yet).

Obviously this is all speculation - but according to the police reports, sounds like Woods was in and out of consciousness when the police arrived.
Perhaps Woods wasn't in the car when the vehicle "crashed." And Mrs. Woods wasn't just hitting only the vehicle's rear window with a club.

I wonder if he was sleep-driving on something like Ambien. That would explain why he hit 2 items, why he wasn't wearing a seatbelt, why he hit the steering wheel, why his wife couldn't wake him up and had to break out a window, and why he was in and out of consciousness. I've seen some pretty bad side effects from sleep meds.

Every celebrity has at least one Escalade or pimped out Tahoe/Denali in their garage. What else are they going to use to cart their kid/pets around in? Not a minivan duhhhh.

Jay, Come on now....I would expect a lot less of an ignorant comment from you. I would not buy one but I sure would not wreck one either. There are many silly cars that BMW makes also.
