We've shown you spy video of the 2011 BMW 5 Series before. It's been running around the Nurburgring for months now in various states of camouflage.
Our most recent footage shows it cruising the streets of Munich with only minimal coverage. Makes sense as BMW has an official unveil planned for next week. Some see it a small 7 Series while others seem to think it a plus-size 3 Series. Take a look and decide for yourself.

Very "7's little brother" looking...which is a good thing compared to any Bangle design that preceded it.

I think its definitely more conservative. In that respect it seems more "smaller 7".
I think Bangle did some good things for BMW. Some not so good. Considering BMW became the leader in luxury autos sales around the globe during his stay at BMW I'd say some of his work was well liked.

To hell with the official unvieling. I'll order mine NOW...in silver please. And since when does BMW outsell MB globally?

Looks handsome - sort of like a G37, which aimed at the 3-series, but added curvature. So, yeah, I see that it looks like the handsome 3-series, and that ain't bad. Style-wise, BMW is looking a little too conventional. At the Seattle Auto Show this weekend, I couldn't help but notice the BMW exhibit looked a little tired, compared with the wildly gorgeous Audi lineup. I hope BMW can find striking answers to the S5 and R8, but I don't know that it is even trying.
