SEMA: The Scion Pickup You've All Been Waiting for by ADF

RCH_5990.jpg

OK, it's not quite the pickup truck many people think Scion should build, but it's a start. Designed and built by Advanced Design Fabricators, this former xB received a rather extensive exterior chop to go along with a mild engine build and the requisite interior revamp/audio upgrade.

The engine received new cams, valves, valve springs, headers and ported heads. And since you might need a little extra punch when the bed fills up with...uh something, they threw in a Nitrous dual stage fogger system. A heavy-duty TRD clutch sends the power to a limited slip differential up front which should have its hands full with the 20-inch wheels and Toyo Proxes tires.

The slogan should be: "Another ghetto car is now for a redneck too!"

"Another ghetto car is now for a redneck too!"
Indeed. This is for those F&F wannabes in the hoodz AND in the woods.....

The answer to the question no one cared to ask. Then again; it is SEMA we're talking about.

I don't think that's the truck anyone has been waiting for.

At least they put some color on the inside. The black hole is one reason why it wasn't on my shopping list.

Here is my new thought about this lizardatrone vehicle. Sorry guys, I'm on Embien right now, so please don;t ignore me but I have a really bright idea about this green car or whatever you call it.
1. The trunk should be used only for jacuzzi, its got space for that I think.
2. Adjust suspension that way, so it could be driven on a rail-rads. In San Francisco this car would became a personal transportation using public transportation's rails.
And another totally different idea. A company should send to the market cars like this one on a picture above but without powertrain only the body shape. And you could buy it at you local car dealer. If anyone is still reading this and asks: "Why would someone buy a car without a powertrain?" Here is the answer to this important question: "When you and your friends feel like target shooting, instead of waisting your time on you old target - the new scion without powetrain will make your day a blessing from the sky" Hallelujah!!!

No... I disagree with all comments here. Is there a market for an xB with a bed? Especially a bed that long? I find myself wondering... Imagine being able to pick up a vehicle with a pickup bed (albeit smaller than that of a Ranger) thats fuel efficient, somewhat stylish & fits in a compact parking space. Thats a winning combo even for your average suburbanite family. It will haul your new stove home (upright I might add) or your lumber from Home Depot to build your new deck. It will also transport rocks / mulch and other such things you wouldn't want in the back of your Pilot or Highlander.

This is to say nothing of the urban "ballin" appeal this thing could garner.

And I like the looks of it....but i like the xB by default too.

^ you mean like a Scion xB 'Ute?
lol maybe but it'd have to be shorter. If you loaded that thing up, the car wouldn't go anywhere, just spin the front wheels (remember this xB is FWD and all the stuff will be going in the back)
