no plot line, just a bunch of overly tuned car drifting, loosely linked with CGI.

I'm fine with masochism, but this is beyond worn out.

As long as there are people who think that a giant wing on the back of their car makes it go faster and look better, there will be a market for these movies.

I'm thinking monster trucks this time.

Why?

FF5?? Are you serious?? The first was cool. Cool cars, good driving and decent enough plot. The 2nd ws contrived and forced and I haven't seen the 3rd or the 4th. I like my cool cars, but the to just see them slung around a drift course, I can get that on any you tube video and get a better plot to boot.

It's the Police Acadamy movies BS all over again. Start with a good movie and then milk every last penny out of it until it's very name is a joke.

Movie making at its worse.

The first one was enjoyable... the second one blew... the third one was fun and the fourth worked well as a sequel to the first, actually.

Definitely not great film making, but anyone walking into these flicks shouldn't be expecting anything profound. I take them as they market them: An hour or two of good popcorn munching with car porn. Nothing more.

When is Smokey and The Bandit 10 coming out? Enough is enough.

A friend of mine calls this movie "The Festito and the Furito";) I could never imagine that this crap is popular enough to make a new one.

If they are making money on these...instead of building 5 series into M5 "look a-likes" and fake GT-R's, why not get fewer of the real cars? Then instead of crashing 5 fake cars for the right unrealistic scene, just drive the hell out of some badass cars. I can find more entertaining homemade videos on youtube.

Maybe they'd lose viewers, I don't know.

I predict there will be no plot. Just like the last one which was terrible. O ya and Tokyo Drift was terrible also. Why do I keep watching them?
