2009 Tokyo Auto Show: Toyota Officially Announces LF-A Premiere

Wish we had more information for you on the production version of the Lexus LF-A, but the press release put out by Toyota today was characteristically cryptic.

"This concept vehicle epitomizes the purest form of driving exhilaration and performance."

That's it. Although the company
is still calling it a concept, we know that the car shown in Tokyo will be 99% production ready.

I'm still not sure whether it should be a Toyota or a Lexus. It's obvious Toyota has made up its mind.

The real point is that it's going to be produced at all. Amazing.

Not 100% positive, but I don't think Lexus is sold in Japan still, so it will probably be a Lexus here and Toyota badged over in Japan. And I cannot say for any other countries.
I think they have to produce this car, as Toyota claimed this is better than any other sport car. And I don't believe one bit that they will be selling these cars for red ink.
