If you read our first look on the 2011 McLaren MP4-12C, you came across the name Antony Sheriff. He's the managing director of McLaren Automotive, and he's responsible for transforming McLaren from a pure racecar builder into a company that also makes leading-edge road cars. In this interview posted on the McLaren media site, Sheriff talks about what makes the MP4-12C is different from other mid-engine sportscars.
"It's a little more accessible than other supercars," he says. "It might appeal to some people who hadn't previously thought a mid-engine sportscar was right for them."

Although I'm sure this car will be sensational to drive, the design is very generic. Looks like something I would have drawn in high school in the late 90's. Because of that, I will have to spend my theoretical $250,000 elsewhere. Possibly on a 458 Italia or a Lambo Lp 560-4.
