The entrepreneurial Mr. Block climbs into a rear-wheel-drive 1978 Ford Escort Mk2, along with fellow rally driver Chris Atkinson, and they've got the dirt course at Team O'Neal Rally School all to themselves. This video is refreshingly casual compared to the choreographed Gymkhana I and Gymkhana 2.
The Escort has a Millington 2.4-liter four-cylinder apparently making around 280 horsepower and a six-speed sequential gearbox. Block will be driving it in a couple races this weekend, including Rally Defi in Canada, hence this practice session.

Good old fun with the Escort MK-2. But fall short of the real deal. No manual transmission!

Love the smiles on these guys faces.....I would be downright giddy. Also love anytime you get to see the concentration/eyes of a pro driver including here - Atkinson about 2/3 of the way through (after the "bloopers").
