There must be worse ways to make a living than to ride your bike on the roof of a 22-story building. Stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer tries out a new F 800 R atop BMW Tower in Munich, and his acrobatics/risk-taking approach Ken Block thresholds.
Actually, this is a special F 800 R, the F 800 R Chris Pfeiffer. Like the standard bike, this one has a 798cc twin engine with 4 valves per cylinder and is rated at 86 hp at 8,000 rpm and 63 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm. But it has all sorts of Pfeiffer-specific cosmetics, plus a lighter-weight rear silencer (ah, but that's BMW press-release-speak... that would be "exhaust" to everyone else) with a deeper note.

Some people (like Chris) seem to have been born without a sense of self-preservation. Luckily, some of them filled that void with talent.

!
Is there a front silencer?
Pipe/exhaust/muffler etc etc would show some bike cred..
Shoulda let Caroline write this one up!

@desmolicious: You're right. I don't ride bikes. And there aren't many areas of life in which I legitimately have "cred." My apologies if my sloppiness results in you no longer reading Straightline.

That's ok, just don't let it happen again.
;p (in case you missed the ;) in my first post)
