Imagine the thrill of driving around in the Porsche 911 GT3 RS the night before Frankfurt. Usually, showcars get all kinds of babying, but this one apparently hit 293 km/h (182 mph) on the autobahn at night. This video has been circulating on the Web, and it's worth a watch if you haven't seen it -- well, at least the first minute of it.

Wow....182 MPH...AT NIGHT. What a complete idiot. Lets not start the "well Germanys roads and drivers are so much better" garbage. Even in Germany he would have been stopped in a heartbeat. The autobahn is about SAFE speed..........let the flaming begin.

There are limitations and if you know your limitations you are good to go.

Ehh it wasn't like he was cruisin at 182mph for 30 mins, so it isn't too bad. Of course, he has taken some risk, as there could have been oil spill, or someone with bad sense of speed deciding to switch lane suddenly.
He says the car weighs 1370kg, and a GT3 Cup weighs 1180kg, then he says 'so it is only 100kg heavier' lol
He also says that the car makes 160kg of downforce (350lbs) at 300km/h (186mph) 'which is unheard of for something that is street legal'. Didn't Enzo make 800lbs of downforce at 186mph? (around 350kg) I'm almost certain that McLaren F1, Porsche GT1, MB CLK GTR, Zonda variants and such made even more, probably over 1000lbs for each.
They should get rid of the paint job in the front, it makes the car look too comical (about to kiss somebody).
