A celebrity fan site has posted a couple photos from the set of the upcoming Sex in the City film sequel, and one of them shows the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet. The other, which is after the jump, shows Sarah Jessica Parker.
We can't say we're surprised Mercedes is using a Sex in the City movie to whet our appetite for the E-Class convertible. The Benz GLK350 made a cameo in the original film, and Kim Cattrall drove it onto the Mercedes-Benz stand at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show.
The movie doesn't come out until May 28, 2010, so it's a fair bet that's about when E350 and E550 Cabriolets will show up at U.S. dealerships.

I agree with you, from that angle the front end treatment looks very Cadillac. In person, however, that isn't conveyed because the sharp angles are actually slightly chamfered whereas in Caddys they are very angular. (I am speaking of the Benz of course, not Sarah Jessica)
