There's a pretty major performance upgrade on the 2010 Lexus IS-F: a torsen-type limited-slip rear differential. Previously, the IS-F only had a simulated limited-slip diff effect via its VDIM system. And, we usually shut down the VDIM system completely, so it was a handful on the track. This should help with that. The LSD is standard equipment on the $58,635 2010 IS-F.
Also, the 2010 IS-F gets updated 19-inch wheels, a USB jack and streaming Bluetooth. On the options list, you'll find an upgraded hard-drive-based navigation system with XM Nav Traffic, Weather and Sports (90-day trial XM subscription), bundled with the new Lexus Enform telematic system.

what a shame for them not put down a LSD at the first point for that much price.

The almighty M3 doesn't have one. I wonder if it will get one now.

@fuhteng, both the E46 and the new M3 have an variable LSD... check the BMW website. I had an E46 M3 and was able to leave really nice twin strips of rubber from a stop, something you cannot do very well or at all without LSD.

they also changed a few things with its suspension, probably to make it a better commuter. IL should retest this new version.

This car just begs for a 6 manual transmission. Lexus, stop being wussies and offer a manual on the IS3500 and the IS-F.

Oops. My bad. It does seem silly it didn't have one to start with though. My G8 GT at half the price has one!
