At each major auto show the monstrous VW Group puts on a sheet metal circus of sorts the night before the first press day in which it shows pretty much all of the vehicles that all of its various brand will unveil in the coming days. This is typically a fairly restrained affair. An executive stands up and introduces the vehicle his (they're ALWAYS men) brand will have at the show, the vehicle rolls out and, boom, on to the next brand.
Then there's Lamborghini, which invariably brings a little more flash to the deal. For starters there are always -- and we do mean always -- a couple of silly-hot models affixed to the car. And then there's the car. This year it's the matte-finish Reventon Roadster, which is very much like the Reventon only without a roof. Also, the company has lost the olive-drab/dark-gray color of the coupe and gone for a more conventionally attractive silver.

The Roadster will run a cool 1.1 million Euros. If you're counting, that's about $1.6 million, give or take. There will be a grand total of 50 built. Each will come with all-wheel drive and that 670-hp V12 which should, says Lamborghini, be enough to get the Reventon Roadster to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds.
Oh, and the girls? There would be an additional cost for them. Quite possibly a substantial additional cost.

I would trade both girls for the car, reel it into my living room, and look at it every morning. I'd be way to afraid to drive it. I can only imaging what I would do if that was my car and some idiot opens his civics door and scratched my car in the parking lot.
