Awhile back we showed you a little background video of Jay Leno's appearance on Top Gear. It showed some of the behind-the-scenes work that went on, but had little of the actual appearance. Now, thanks to the wonders of the internet you can see the full interview with Clarkson along with Jay's lap around the test track in a piece of junk Euro crapbox. Enjoy.

I believe the "crapbox" is actually a korean Chevy

Its a Daewoo Lacetti rebadged Chevrolet, meaning its an Asian crapbox and the Europeans think Americans made it... nothing Euro about it. Im sure Euro-autoblog would call it an American crapbox. Amend the text.

Is Top Gear 13 On In The USA Yet?

Wasn't their 1st "reasonably priced car" a Daewoo as well? (rebadged as a Suzuki).
I think Hyundai and Kia should get together, buy Daewoo and bulldoze it.
As long as they are around a large number of people will keep thinking of Korean cars as junk.

I haven't lived in the UK for 2 years now, and yet I still sometimes call the ZR1 and Z06 the Zed-R1 and the Zed-Oh-6. Maybe that is because I've been watching Top Gear ever since.
The end of this episode was quite sad. I really hope the speculation is way off base and Top Gear isn't going anywhere. Regardless, it is sad if the "goodbye" was directed towards cars like the Aston. While the masses must drive cars that consume fewer fossil fuels, that had better not mean the end of fun cars for the enthusiast and loud, brash cars to remind us what it is like to be alive in this otherwise sanitary, humorless safety obsessed world.

FWIW, the segment with celebs doing a track run is called Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.
I haven't watched this one and when I get a chance, Leno gets a Fast Forward. He's a mindless lapdog/shill for the highest bidder.

stovt001: I was a little worried too about the ending of show 7, but the Top Gear website says that the show isn't going away and that Series 14 starts in November.
And just to clear up the confusion about the (non-Euro) crapbox:
The current Reasonably Priced Car is a Chevrolet Lacetti which was called the Daewoo Lacetti in the UK until ~2006 when Daewoo UK changed its name to Chevrolet. (My fellow Canadians will recognize it as the Chevrolet Optra sedan, which was sold here from 2004-2005)
The earlier Reasonably Priced Car was a Suzuki Liana, which was sold in North America as the Suzuki Aerio sedan.

You folks need to learn your economy cars better. That Korean "crapbox" is sold here as the Chevy Aveo sedan. The only thing different is the side the steering wheel is on. Otherwise, its identical.

If the Chevrolet Lacetti is the Optra as listed here... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daewoo_Lacetti ... it is definitity NOT the Aveo.
They are different cars.

firstwagon: The link you pointed to shows the current Lacetti and the station wagon version. The version they use on TopGear is the same as the U.S. Aveo. Here are the pictures to prove it.

Just watched episode 7. Great show (funny VW ads!) but the ending was odd.
Jay Leno was great BTW.
Looking forward to series 14.

Watch the video again. And you might want to compare it to the pictures in firstwagon's link.

@cptmatt
The reasonably priced car is a Chevy Lacetti which is the same as the US market Suzuki Forenza, NOT the Aveo as you have mentioned.
