The new front-wheel-drive 2010 Acura RDX will go on sale tomorrow.
Pricing starts at $32,520, and fuel economy is rated at 19 mpg in the city and 24 when cruising the highway. The RDX gets a standard 240-horsepower 2.3-liter inline-4 engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. We'll see if its "distinct" grille from the Acura parts bin grows on people. It's doubtful.

Why have all Acura models been beaten with the ugly stick? Can the Acura brand not create a good looking car? The first-gen TL was fantastic but there is no new Acura that looks better than decent (the TSX is decent).

19/24 with FWD and four cylinders is pathetic, especially on premium fuel. The AWD version can only muster 22 on the highway which is the same as an Enclave with about 80% more interior space.

I worked for an Acura dealer in the 90's. We (the dealers) kept begging them to give us styling that was daring and distinctive. They finally delivered on both. Lends to the old adage...be careful what you ask for!

Acura is quickly becoming the GM of Japan; the RDX is simply their Aztek.
