Spy Photos: 2010 Ferrari F450 Caught On the Track

As hideous as this mule may look, the 2010 Ferrari F450 that lies underneath all that camouflage promises to bring Ferrari styling back in a major way when it debuts later this year.

We know this because a partially dismantled test mule was photographed by CzechFerrari.cz just weeks ago. Even in pieces, the prototype looked good, with curvy bodywork that was wrapped tightly around the frame. There was a V8 in back of course, but specifics on the engine are a little thin at this point. Look for a possible world debut this fall with U.S. sales beginning next year.

I'm cyber-drooling. ...

Actually, I'm just as excited to hear it as to see it. I heard an F430 passing through Boulder, CO not too long ago. Oh my.

Why is Ferrari mis-spelled on the engine intake castings? It's spelled there "Farrari." Weird.

^ It actually is spelled right. It's just that the lower-case e looks kind of like a lower-case a in that font from that angle...

I know the current F430 isn't tops in overall performance however is it possible that it provides the best package in terms of tactility and overall driving experience?

I've only been in one Ferrari, owned by one of wife's dental patients, a neurosurgeon. I've always loved Ferrari's however after riding in a F360 Challenge Stradale I realized that I never in my life been in a car that was so emotionally and physically connected/exciting, and I was only a passenger! I can only imagine driving one.
