Spy Photo: 2011 Saab 9-5

Lost among all the business issues swirling around Saab is the fact that the company is still working on developing new vehicles. One of our staffers was in Death Valley recently soaking up some rays when he spotted these 9-5 test mules taking a break from the heat.

As we've seen before, this new sedan will get a shape with that features typical Saab "uniqueness" and at this point there's nothing new owner Koenigsegg can do about it even if wanted to shake things up a little. Also note the new Cadillac SRX being used as a support vehicle. GM may be officially out of the Saab business in the future, but for now it will still play a central role in product development.
