Pretty funny but . . . they better use overnight shipping to get them to the dealers before it's over!

so, they want to people to brag about the fact that they probably needed government help to buy a decent car?

Streets are going to look a lot better with all the old Asstro Vans and Luminas getting off the street.

That's funny, in fact I think this was an excellent idea.

its a cool idea. but not everybody wants to put a sticker on his new car. removing it would be pain in the butt. a magnet would be a better idea as the owner can remove it whenever they want without scrapping the goo off.

Not for those with a weak stomach.

Not only does the car have to be demolished, but the engine has to be disabled so that it cannot be used again.
adavis2493 says:

That kind of is ridiculous. I mean, how about we help out dealers as well by giving them a decent used car selection??
So much in used cars can be reusable, yet the Government wants to waste it?
RIDICULOUS!

WHAT A GREAT IDEA! We will save the planet and the economy by filling our landfills with old cars and using more resources to make new cars that people can't afford without government assistance.

Cleverest comment in the history of clever comments.

adavis, the whole point is to get those gas guzzlers off the roads... it would make no sense to trade the car and re-sell it.
The dealers can sell the tranny, rear end, and some other things to say a junkyard but the engine has to die. they pour a solution on the engine and makes it seize...
