In his first webchat since becoming head of GM's design, marketing and communications operations, Bob Lutz revealed definite plans for a Cadillac CTS-V Coupe.
The original question asked about the possibility of a CTS-V wagon, to which Lutz replied, "As of now, the V package is planned only for the sedan and coupe. However, should sufficient demand materialize, there is no reason why we couldn't do a V-Series wagon, and i would be standing in line for one, just ahead of you."
So there you have it, show enough interest and the CTS-V sport wagon could become a reality, just don't bet on it ever happening.

I would sacrifice a lot to get my hands on a CTS-V wagon. Sadly it probably won't happen in America, but I appreciate that he's at least open to the thought.

Although I applaud GM for making cars for the enthusiast, GM should focus more on their priorities instead of low profit, low volume niche vehicles.

I'm sure that fast wagons fans have already expressed their overwhelming demand for fast wagons in the States but so far only MB replied. Pretty confident there won't be a V wagon.

Whoever did the PhotoShop on that car needs to pay more attention to the spy shots of the CTS coupe. It's not going to have door handles. It's going to have a touch pad on the edge of the door like the Corvette has. Pretty sweet looking, though.

Bob is talking too much and he thinks he is in charge. The CTS Coupe is plain ugly IMO. Looks like a G-6 coupe with a Caddy front in.
