We reported yesterday that Audi was planning two world premieres at this evening's centennial celebration in Ingolstadt. We just didn't know they weren't talking about cars. Well, OK, one of them is a car -- the 2010 Audi A5 Sportback announced yesterday. The other premiere was a piano.
We're sure the Audi Design Piano is a really nice piano. It has an elegantly curved wood top, and we're almost certain it has an all-aluminum chassis. Plus, the famous pianist Lang Lang played Chopin's "Polonaise" on it during the ceremonies. We bet he was even heel-and-toeing as he played.
But, this wasn't the A7 or R8 convertible we'd hoped for... we can't drive a piano. As consolation, we've included a photo of the giant Audi TT being used as a centerpiece at the party in Ingolstadt.

I want that piano. Having a real one is way better than this stupid electric one I have. I wish real pianos were cheap. =|

Really? You obviously haven't heard of Vanessa Carlton then!

Audi design, Porsche design. When is Volkswagen design coming?

If only they had made a pipe organ... organists often heel-and-toe!
