Ever wish you could have the same private, pretentious country club experience on the track instead of a golf course? Well, with the new Atlanta Motorsports Park, you can.
They say it's a "private country club that will offer a membership for serious motor sports enthusiasts looking for executive level privileges and amenities." AMP has designed a first-class driving course using Tilke engineers and architects, and it will be unveiled on July 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Hennessy Porsche in Roswell, Georgia. Some of the so-called "amenities" (mahogany lockers, biometric fingerprinting and hiking trails) can be seen here.
Three-dimensional images of the only eco-friendly motorsports park will be shown at the July 30 event, where Atlanta Falcons' wide receiver Michael Jenkins will make an appearance. SPEED commentator Bob Varsha will be "Master of Ceremonies," and Grey Goose Vodka models will be there for visual entertainment.
We're assuming Ralph Lauren polos and seersucker pants are optional attire for the event.
