Since Lexus hasn't bothered to build an IS-F convertible yet, we went ahead and did it for them. Doesn't look bad, although we'll admit it chances of arriving at dealers soon is pretty slim. Would you be interested?

I am curious as to why this is called a BMW M3 killer in the story heading.
Seeing that the M3 has been picked over the IS in every test I've seen, and that the M3's sales dwarf that of the IS, it would seem that the IS is dead.

Leaps and bounds ahead of the silly SC430.

Still wouldn't buy it.

Wow, I saw the IS-F convertible on your IL front page, thought it was real, and then didn't bother to even click it out of disinterest. Only after reading Straightline do I even realize it doesn't exist... When will Lexus stop being so boring? My sister drives an IS 250 and while it's comfortable and quiet as anything on any highway, there's really nothing which makes me ever want to ask her to borrow it..
