You just have to love how the Europeans say "aluminum".
Jaguar just might become another big time player in the luxury segment as their recent and future products are/look promising. I just wish Jaguar could somehow bring back that mysterious, romantic, emotional side of the pre-Ford cars as thats what really set the brand apart.

I dont know, I'm getting a hint of that ugly Audi A7 fastback. I hope its just a bad angle.

Let's see what the Indians can do. Ownership of Jag has been passed around like a hot potato for decades. If they can do a better job than Ford at dealing with Britain's terrible labor constraints, I wish them luck. So far I'm not impressed with the teaser images of the XJ. The last two generations of XJs were aluminum also. So that's nothing new. The whole "green environmental" slant to this clip is a little sickening. Just meaningless bandwagon jumping.

As an owner of an aluminum vehicle, I can tell ya, there's a big difference.
Judging from what I've seen, the new XJ doesn't look any better. But like any classic, I'm sure it'll grow on me. I'm just hoping it's not banglized.
