Inside Line has confirmed that the upcoming Audi R8 Convertible will appear in the sequel to Iron Man due out next May. Spotted on the Nurburgring almost a year ago, the soft-top version of the Audi R8 is expected to make its official world debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show in September.

I like the silver stripe personally. Maybe to please both sides of he argument, they could add a delete stripe option, or add stripe option. It is what gave the standard R8 part of it's own unique flare. Getting rid of it completely is basically making it look like an Audi TT with a kick ass body kit....hmm, we might be on to something here either way.
