i think its irrelevant more along the lines of that it uses significantly outdated technology that has no practical purpose for road cars. while F1 is not a practical road car, many of the technologies find their way to lower racing levels and then to road cars.
too bad they have to bother with 5 lug nuts, why doesnt NASCAR update their rules and use center nuts?
