I remember this survey. It had the Genesis as a "family" car over $30K instead of a luxury car under $30K. There were quite a few other complaints if I remember right.

Not too thrilled with the results, but you used my comment for the 128 winning Luxury under $30,000 so I guess I won't complain.

That the BMW 128 won for best commuter under $30K shows that they really needed a catagory best commuter under $20K.
Few people spend $30K for a commuter car but if you tell them that's the price limit they will pick something as close to the limit as possible.
That the BMW X5 won for family over $30K and the Accord won for best under $30K shows there aren't many families on this blog. Neither one is a really good choice for a family.

I remember this survey as well. It's complete bull@#$t. The omissions were absurd. If I recall, there where numerous categories where you weren't allowed to vote for domestics. In some, the choices where way too limited.
Edmunds should be completely ashamed of this survey. Come on Edmunds, post the choices with the results. It'll show what a piece of cr@p this survey is.

I thought the survey was fine, I didn't have any issues picking cars that I thought should win.
It looks like a lot of other people agreed with my votes too.
