After granting a temporary stay yesterday to study the matter, the Supreme Court today lifted its hold on the case. The ruling paves the way for Chrysler's sale to Fiat, a deal which could lift Chrysler out of bankruptcy by the end of this week. Good luck guys, you're going to need it.

Everyone is so wrapped up in the whole "American" car company thing. Chrysler was not an "American" company when Diamler had it. In the end it's a matter of American jobs! If they are designed, or at least built here then jobs will be saved (Yeah, Mr. Obama. That's how that works.). Look at it this way. Alot of Hondas, Toyotas and Nissans are built here. Admittedly, their parent companies benefits from the profits, but we benefit from countless jobs from parts suppliers to other manufacturing. We'll see.

Yet again, bankruptcy is being rushed by the federal government. Not only is it being rushed, but they're also denying the legal right of the secured bond holders.
Meanwhile, 90% of Americans sit idly by and watch as their government continues to trample on the rights of individuals.

Yeah, but 90% of Americans aren't bondholders, at least knowingly.
I completely agree though. Consumer advocate groups really tarnished their reputations along the way, so now who do we turn to to combat flagrant abuse?
