It'd be really helpful if you guys posted the ratings along with the videos, if they're available.

It got 4/5 stars for driver leg injury.
But the Aussies test at 40 mph, and Americans only test at 35 mph.
So it's a 5 star in America.

I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars from what you can see in the video.
Like almost every new car on the road today, it appears to be able to take an incredible impact without damaging the passenger compartment.
If you want any meaningful gains in safety beyond this, the only place left to look is to the driver.
Auto makers and the government have spent vast amounts of money to make cars as safe as possible but the average driver wouldn't dream of taking an advanced driving course or even just putting down his cell phone or turning off the nav screen.
The safest car on the road is the one that doesn't have an accident but it's just so much easier to blame someone else.

Agreed - the A pillar bending like that (and where the roof meets the B pillar) is not okay. Sure it mostly held it's shape, but that's just sad.

This is where Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, etc. save money.

I had also made an .img of the Acadia/Enclave/Whatever IIHS offset crash test where pillar starts bucking in the IIHS test and the CX-9 does not what so ever.
