They call it "Wild Thing" and it seems quite appropriate. Never mind the Green Lantern paint, this Corvette Z06 by Geiger Cars of Germany boasts twin turbos, 890-horsepower and a top speed of 220mph. If that doesn't grab your attention, well then, move along and let us bask in the ridiculousness.

Right on, folks. That's what it is. 890 HP that for most situations is unusable and will (unless driver is very, very careful) destroy the very car it propels, not to mention destroying tires with abandon (you guys own stock in Nitto or Hooser or what? ;-) ).
I'll bet a no-prize the GT-R or Karl's GT or ZR1 would prove better balanced and more pleasurable in a racetrack (or enthusiast's ultimate autobahn driving) situation.

So is the tranny made of adimantium (sp?)?
Honestly, anything over 450 is just bragging rights, just like 12-cylinder engines and 8-gear transmissions.

Unless you have regular access to a racetrack or a dragstrip, anything much over 200 hp is bragging rights in a 3000 lb car.
The purpose of this car is to look good in reviews and to separate money from the wallets of rich people who want everyone to know how rich they are.

Actually, a V12 engine, while being too expensive and difficult to package in many cars, is incredibly smooth and refined, since it is essentially two inline sixes sharing a common crankshaft with twice the overlap between power strokes.
