#Ford Taurus -- The last day of my road trip in the 2010 Ford Taurus Limited covers 825 miles. Or at least it does until I go off on various detours, adding 5-10 miles here and there. So it's a long day. And I'm driving well after dark.
But I find that I really like being in the Taurus after sunset. Every gauge, control and container in this car lights up. And as in other Fords, you can control the color and intensity of the ambient lighting. It's a lot of lighting elements, but somehow it never feels like too much and the cabin becomes a soothing place.

Where are the safety police when you're cruising at 95 mph AND shooting a video?

On a flat, straight road, mind you.

Speed is relative to the scale of things around you.
In the southwest, even 110 mph feels slow, and there's nothing you could possibly crash into for the entire 1 mile visible in front of you, as long as you keep straight on the road.
But then back in the cities, 40 mph feels fast with all the twists and turns and hills and 100 feet visibility.
