In his first drive, our executive editor Michael Jordan tells you about how the 2010 Lexus IS 350C is a nice refined, relaxing car to drive. He compares it to a coastal mega-resort hotel styled like a Tuscan villa. No doubt, then, that this is exactly the sort of car you'll want to kit up with Lexus' F-Sport performance accessories.
That's right, you can put an F-Sport track-day brake kit and extra-large, dual-tip catback exhaust on your IS 350 convertible. If you're among the 0.0001 percent of 2010 Lexus IS 250C buyers who specify the six-speed manual gearbox, you'll want the short-throw shifter and high-performance clutch, won't you?
The thing is, we really liked the look of the F-Sport wheels and lowered suspension on the Lexus IS 250 F-Sport sedan we tested. But on a retractable hard-top convertible? Um, well, pass.
Follow the jump to see the full F-Sport accessory line for the 2010 Lexus IS 250C and IS 350C.

Um, I don't see anything you would want to pass on with this IS350C. What's wrong with a little bit of aggression? (this car definitely could use some, and the F-Sport accessories deliver)

I know a Lexus dealer who is selling 27 cars per month, but he had never seen anyone actually buying the IS250 manual or seeing one in his lot.

That's a beautiful car.

This looks better than the Infiniti.
And the trunk can't be worse than the Infiniti's 1.99 cu ft.
The VW Eos hardtop gets a 6.6 cu ft trunk top down.
The Mazda MX-5 has 5.3 cu ft.
The BMW 335, Volvo C70 don't have published cargo volumes. But they gotta be more than 1.99 cu ft!
I think this Lexus is the best looking hardtop in this price range.

I'm surprised how good this looks. Now they just need to change the grille.

great looking car, and probably in my opinion it will be better even without the f-sport package.

I got a chuckle out of this lame line in the IS 350C article...
"(And if you're buying a car — any car — based on rear-seat space, you should be rethinking your worthless life in any case.)"
I think about rear seat space because I have kids. I also have friends. Not exactly a "worthless life".
True I don't get to drive around telling people ... "look how cool I am, I have a useless backseat! .. but I can live with that.
It may be a "worthless" life to some people but at leaast I have a life.
IMHO

Argh, I can't stand engine covers.

That is a sexy car. Why do people say this does not compare to a G37 or a BMW 335i.

A carbon fiber (or pseudo carbon fiber) engine cover? Such absolute worthless crap! How about *no* engine cover?

This car is horribly proportioned. The front design is weak, the goofy rear overhang is way too long, and the roofline has those ugly cut-lines that look terrible on any color other than black. This ghettofabulous "F Sport" package just turns this thing into an even more ugly Barbimobile.
