It's only three seconds long, but that's long enough to see the 2010 Ford Mustang coupe's occupant compartment hold up well in NHTSA's frontal-impact test.
And sure enough the 2010 Mustang coupe earns five stars for this performance. NHTSA hasn't issued side-impact ratings, yet, but the agency does list a five-star rollover rating.

Is the a tri-fold hood?
I thought most hoods get 1 fold.
That hood looks like it has 3 crease points. Neato.

I've been test driving a lot of the 2011 mustang models here at the Austin, TX Ford dealership (http://www.covertford.com/) and I've been mostly impressed by the turnaround that Ford has made in 2011. The power and styling are the most noticeable changes to the mustang and I'd looking forward to buying one by the end of the year.
