It's been the king of the large luxo sedan segment for a long time now, so the introduction of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is nothing more than a little insurance that it will remain the class leader. All the changes are minor, but as contributor Matt Davis notes, they come together in a way that adds polish to what is already the standard in the segment.

The S Class is the segment standard even though its not the sportiest or most entertaining to drive. It has a presence that no other car in its class possesses and its well deserved as the S Class has consistently held its crown.
