At this point we've seen the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in the flesh, but never completely uncovered. These latest shots reveal more exterior detail than ever before and it's looking quite promising.
The shapes of the greenhouse and nose section are clearly visible now and they both show clear signs of the SLS's retro-inspired design. Smaller details like the headlights, drilled brake rotors and vents holes in the front quarter panels add a few more clues to the look of the final design.
If you're curious about the inside, see our earlier look at the interior. You might also want to check out some of our more exclusive information like the explosive door bolts and upcoming convertible model.

I may never be able to own one, but I'm very interested in this model. Most definitely an instant classic.

So this is the BMW Z4 fighter.
That's tough because the new Z4 is so awesome.

The SLK is a Z4 fighter. This SLS is a much larger car more comparable in size to an SL or the former BMW Z8 (I liked that car). The price I imagine will be much more than an SL.

In the second image, I think I see an E63 estate in the background. Very nice looking. I mention it because it will be in my price range long before the SLS...though it does look to be extremely promising.

actually...looking at the taillights, looks more like a C. Looks MUCH nicer than the sedan. Give it to us MBZ!!!!
