Should also be noted that the base 2010 model comes with a 6-speed manual as standard, and is much roomier than the '09 model.

Summer tires on the WRX and now on the Legacy GT? These are still Subarus aren't they? I know they will handle better in the warmer weather but we're still going to drive them in the winter. Now we'll just have to get dedicated winter tires I guess...

I hope this is a REALLY good car. Since I have my G35, I would consider this for my wife, but it needs an automatic and decent fuel economy.

Very nice. Side profile look kind of like an Infiniti M35. I would consider it if I was in the market for a sports sedan.

Bravo, Subaru! On many levels!
...but not styling...

Early indications suggest that the CVT is really quite good (so I've been told), and that you can expect a 3 mpg increase in gas mileage with at tranny. I think they're expecting 30 mpg in the Legacy (slightly lower in the Outback) with the CVT on the highway. Not bad for an AWD car.

Subaru Legacy styling worse then before.

rsholland, if this car can get 30 mpg hwy with a lively engine, I would be impressed. I would love a capable 4wd car for my wife, and for our winter escapes over the Cascade Mountains.
From this angle, the car is attractive. Looks like great visibility over the low hood, and the wing motif in the grille works fine. I prefer the G37's looks, or the A4, but this isn't bad.

I think it looks just fine.
I've always found the Legacy to be overpriced, so kudos to them for addressing that.

I like the Sebring-inspired headlights. At least I'll feel safe in knowing that the Sebring will live on in spirit in the Legacy.

The pricing is competitive and it isn't an unattractive car imo. Just need to see how it performs now.
