You would think that a movie centered around street racing and modified cars might want to include the latest new models. For the most part Fast & Furious does just that, expect for one notable exception.
Turns out the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe was supposed to get a starring role, but was left out at the last minute. It came about after another manufacturer started squawking about screen time for its own vehicles. Thankfully there are more than enough interesting vehicles to make the Hyundai's absence largely unnoticeable, but be sure to look for it in Faster & Furious next year.

Well, this'll make for an interesting game. If I see this thing, I'll keep an eye out for which make gets the most airtime. Then I'll know who's the cry baby.

Ditto to ctpax's comment.
johnnyr3, I suspect there's a sponsor involved. If I was sponsoring the movie, I'd expect minimum screen time for my vehicles too.

Yeah Dom looks REALLY pissed there on the picture. Probably uttering something like "I need to get my 10 second car back. Gotta have that Hyundai Genesis".
